Below is the simple procedure to change sysadm account from the database.This can be done from application designer as well.
1.
Select * from PSACCESSPRFL;
SYMBOLIC VERSION ACCESSID ACCESSPSWD ENCRYPTED
-------- ---------- ---------------- ---------------- ----------
SYSADM1 **************** **************** 1
2.
alter user sysadm identified by *******;
update PSACCESSPRFL set ACCESSID = 'what your Access ID is' , ACCESSPSWD = 'your New Access Password' , ENCRYPTED = 0, where SYMBOLICID = 'whatever the SYMBOLICID is';
3.
update PSACCESSPRFL set ACCESSID = 'SYSADM' , ACCESSPSWD = '' , ENCRYPTED = 0 where SYMBOLICID = 'SYSADM1';
4.
Select * from PSACCESSPRFL;
SYMBOLIC VERSION ACCESSID ACCESSPSWD ENCRYPTED
-------- ---------- ---------------- ---------------- ----------
SYSADM1 1 SYSADM *********** 0
5.Alter the user password in database level.
alter user sysadm account unlock;
6.
Restart the application server for the environment or login from the application designer.
7.
Select * from PSACCESSPRFL;
SYMBOLIC VERSION ACCESSID ACCESSPSWD ENCRYPTED
